Awhile back I had gotten a Pizzazz from a former roommate that had moved out. He owed me some money and couldn't pay me so I got his Pizzazz instead. It is a great invention and I made not only pizzas on it but really any frozen item that is usually deep fat fried. Christmas at Home

My brother and I came home last night or maybe I should say early this morning after he got off work. We got home around 2 a.m. It is great being home. New Job

Tonight is my official first night on the job. I am on third shift but that's ok because I normally stay up into the wee hours of the morning. I am going to be a security officer at the casino in our town. According to orientation there will be a lot to learn but I think this will be very interesting and fun and a great experience for me since I am going to school for law enforcement. I'm trying to sike myself up for going and am probably a little nervous but that's normal. I anticipate the evening will go well.

Busy!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. I got hired for a new job and have been going through orientation for that. Then my class I am taking has taken up so much of my time with so much work to do. Then I get most of it done and they make me redo it because they are not satisfied. It is ridiculous how they do that. I officially start on my new job tomorrow night and am pretty excited about that and hope it goes well. It sure will be nice to pull in a decent paycheck. I haven't had one for quite awhile.

On Thanksgiving day my brother and I wanted something special to eat for dinner since we couldn't be home with our parents. So I bought a jar of gravy and we made fake mashed potatoes. Interviews

Last week I had two interviews which I am highly interested in either job. They are both for security and I would love that. The second interview I felt like I dominated that one. It went so well and the guy who interviewed me seemed impressed. It was great and I hope I land one of these jobs soon.

Working

I have to work tonight. This is the first job that I start so late. I have to start around 11 and go till almost 3 in the morning. I really don't mind it though because I am usually up anyway. Just as well work and make some money.

Well I worked my second night at my new job and it went very well. I had one incident where a guy had a little to much to drink and he kept harassing a girl for a date. Facebook

Facebook is a great social network where you can stay in touch with friends and family all over. When I first joined I was new in college and it spread to high school aged kids and now adults are joining all the time. My mom is on their and my grandma. So it really doesn't matter anymore the age of people joining Facebook.
I enjoy posting pictures and joining groups and mainly staying in touch with friends that live a distance away, it's pretty cool.

New Job

Awhile back I had a dog named Lucky and since I am still in school and living in an apartment she had to go live with some friends of mine. My Birthday

It is my birthday today and at midnight last night I got a call from my mom and she was singing Happy Birthday to me. I was shocked because she is usually in bed. When I lived at home, she would come in our bedroom to wake us up on my birthday and my brother's birthday and sing Happy birthday to us. As she would say, " I sing it in an annoying way." I get a kick out of it now because she has done it for so many years.
This past weekend I celebrated my birthday with my parents and brother. We had great food and great presents. My parents gave me some money to buy my own gifts so today I am going out to shop for my birthday present. It should be fun and I am looking forward to it.

Wrestling

I'm a big wrestling fan. I watch it whenever they have it on tv. My brother and I have been able to go to them live and we try and get to the auditorium way before the event happens. We have met so many of the wrestlers and have gotten pictures and autographs. I'm hoping in the near future that we will be able to attend another one.

Villisca Ax Murder House

Last year my friends and I went and spent the night in one of Iowa's most haunted places. It was the sight of eight gruesome murders back in 1912. We got to have the whole house to ourselves and got to do a huge investigation. The night was crazy. We talked to little girls, little girls were singing, we had our clothes tugged and many other things happened. It was such a great time and I suggest it to anybody who wants to get freaked out.

Prison Break Trip

A while back my friend Jeff and I went to Joliet, IL. We went to go see his brother and see the prison where they taped Prison Break. It was so awesome we first went and saw the prison, walked all around it and checked some different things out. We then went out to an old quary that was a little ways from the prison. It ended up being a place that taped a scene for prison break. In the scene they break out tail lights of a van and at the place I found a part of the light so that was really sweet.

Presidential Dollars

Have you ever seen that show that is usually on later at night called the Cable Shopping Network? Ghost Rider

Well I saw Ghost Rider. It was pretty awesome. It had awesome graphics and good actors. It was really cool to see the the transformation right in front of your eyes of Nicolos Cage turning into a skeleton and then being on fire. Sam Niels part as the original ghost rider was really sweet. Instead of a motorcycle he rode a horse that was on fire. I'm sure glad I got it on DVD.

Indiana Bill

My brother and I have made a cult classic set of movies called Indiana Bill. What started out as a spoof as now spawned for other movies and another one on the way. I have always loved making movies and fun little clips of my brother and I just goofing off. I will probably always want to do this and may never grow out of it.

Rare Coins

I love to collect things that I think will be of value some day. I collect Starwars memorabilia. I've done it since I was quite young and I love my collection. Some people enjoy collecting stamps and coins. I would probably enjoy doing that too. I especially think getting a rare coin is pretty cool. I have gotten some special coins from different countries and I treasure them. I love to see what has been imprinted on them and see the year they were made. Football

One thing that my brother and I really enjoy doing is going to a park where there are a lot of trees and great scenery and toss a football around. This week has been amazing for weather. The temperatures have been climbing into the 80s with no humidity and then it cools way down into the 50s at night so it makes for great sleeping. I was starting to wonder if we were going to get anymore warm weather this season the way September started out. It sounds like we will have more of this great weather through the weekend.

Happiness is Pets

Having a pet is the greatest thing ever. I had a black lab and her name is Lucky. I had to give her to some friends because I am still in college and it just didn't work to keep her. I miss her a lot because she was my best friend. She loved me no matter what. Lucky was so loyal and was crazy happy all the time whenever I would come home from school or work. Happiness is Pets and I know that for a fact. A pet doesn't get mad at you and loves you at all times.

Birthday

My birthday is coming up next week and my brother and I are going home for the weekend to celebrate. It has been awhile since we've been home and I'm ready. My mom is going to make me a strawberry cake and get some black cherry ice cream. I always want Norwegian pancakes so I'm sure that's what my mom will make. I'm really looking forward to it.

Weights

Since we have moved to this new apartment my brother, our roommate and I have been trying to make a routine of going down to the workout room every night and do some kind of exercise. The thing I enjoy doing most is lifting weights. Out of the 3 of us I can lift the most. It's fun to see how much I can actually lift. I can feel it in my clothes that the weight is shifting for the better. I need to keep it up cause it's great to feel the results.

It is hard to believe that the Summer Olympics are over. I really didn't watch it too much. I guess I just don't really get into it. Swimming is pretty cool and it is pretty cool that Michael Phelps from the US won 8 gold medals. Now you see the guy everywhere. Also, Shawn Johnson did awesome and Iowa is so proud of her. Iowa gets made fun of a lot but this is a very bright light that shines out for Iowa. Congrats to all the Olympic winners.

Online Classes

Last week I started my online classes. I love it and it is going so well. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. It is so nice to get up and get right on my computer and get my school work done without leaving my apartment. With the school I'm involved with they are big on team work so that has been a challenge but all in all I think it will be great.

Jobs

Ever since we moved to this city my brother and I have been searching for a job. We haven't had much luck and are hoping something comes about pretty soon. It is a real drag not having any money and having to borrow from our folks all the time. I would really like to work at the casino in security and am hoping that they call me soon and that I can get an interview.

Cousins

Our cousins came to visit for a couple of days and we have been having a great time. We finished up my second movie and had 2 out of the 3 cousins in it. We've always gotten along so well and it is nice that they are old enough where they can come and visit us. We always find something fun to do and it sounds like they are planning to come back real soon.

Well less then a week and we go to the Villisca Ax Murder house and spend the night again. We are so excited and instead of 5 people like we had last year we will now have 7. Which will be real nice it's expensive but so worth it and so much fun. I cannot wait to go!

Well haven't posted on here for awhile so I thought I would talk about this past weekend. We went to Minneapolis with my mom for a little vacation. We went to the mall of america and the Minnesota Zoo. It was alot of fun except for the zoo sucked. I got a lot of new stuff like new hats and a sweet Minnesota Twins jersey. It was a great time!

Job hunting

It is getting very frustrating looking for a job. I have had interviews but haven't gotten a job yet. It is very hard not to have any money. I wish that something would come about soon. My brother and roommate have run into the same situation. It's discouraging.

Leap Year

This year it is leap year and I was thinking how strange it would be for a person born on Leap year. You would have to wait a few years before you would actually have your birthday on the right day. Otherwise I suppose they would celebrate on the 28th of Feb or March 1. Either way that works too, it would just be strange.

I went with my dad and my brother to Ames today. We had to take my brother's computer back to Best Buy cause it was still having issues. We went out to eat at Hickory Park. So finally got a new phone. Got the new motorola rokr. It's really sweet and has tons of different features on it. It's slider phone and definitely different then my razr.

Lately I've been getting into the sport of rugby. I think it's pretty sweet and you don't hear a whole lot about it. Well I heard about the Six Nations rugby games, which is a huge rugby tournament. Long Walk

So the other day my friends Joel and Bret were over and we decided with Jesse to go walking. So I've been playing alot of GTA on my computer lately. It's an older game but I learned that you mod stuff into the game and add like real cars and give your guys new outfits and what not. Hope to start doing it to Vice City here pretty soon.

Rambo

There is a really sweet movie coming out next week and it is called Rambo. My parents have seen the older ones and said they were really good so I know this one will be just as good if not better. One scene I saw was pretty graphic so if you go see this movie you better go prepared.

Two Weeks already

Man it's already been two weeks since I've been living in Dodge with Jesse and Gehrt. It's gone so stinking fast, it feels like Christmas just got over. But anyways we have been having alot fun.
