In every class I do it seems like they expect us to write these long papers. I know that's part of college but sometimes I wish there would be other ways to learn. With me taking classes online I have to work with a team and that doesn't always work well. I guess I shouldn't complain because this is what I have chosen for my education.

60th Anniversary

My folks told me recently that my grandparents are going to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this year. I think that is pretty amazing and it's great to have a good example of commitment for all those years showed to all of us who are young still.

Transunion Settlement

There is a lot of bad stuff going on in this world today and it seems like everyday there is something bad in the newspapers or on the news on television. Recently I heard about this credit reporting company called TransUnion that had illegally sold confidential credit information to target marketing companies in the United States between the years 1987 and 2000. Selling personal credit information like this is a huge violation with the Federal Credit Reporting Act. Most likely this has affected many people and they are also most likely filing a claim against TransUnion. It is important that these people find a good attorney to help them get a Transunion Settlement.

Sarah

A good friend of my brothers flew in today from Arkansas. She is going to be staying with us till next week. She seems like a real nice person and has a very strong southern way of talking. It should be fun to have her here this week. We have a lot planned.

Ghost Hunting Shows

We were recently approached about sharing our experiences on a well known ghost hunting type show. We were excited because we thought my brother was going to be on an episode. Then the let down came and we found out that others had been chosen over us and that was quite disappointing. Oh well, it's their loss because we had some good stuff to share.

I don't have a lot of time to watch television but lately all I hear is buy gold, buy gold. Although I am a college student, it isn't too soon to start thinking of the future and investing for retirement. I can start out in a small way and buy gold bullion. Paranormal

We are very interested in the paranormal. There are some very strange things going on in the world. We have quite a group gathered together to study these things. We get excited when we get called to a place that has strange happenings going on. We would love to be able to catch on film whatever is causing these strange things to happen. Perhaps there is a simple explanation for it, but who knows? We are enjoying trying to find out.

New Apartment

We sure love our new apartment. It is so convenient to everything. Much different than when we were across town. It is in such a nice neighborhood too and we feel so much more at home here. It is very comfortable and I am very glad we were able to get it. Good apartments are hard to come by and you usually have to take a longer lease than what you would like so I guess my brother and I are blessed.

Gold Coins

I hear a lot about investing in gold. As a matter of fact when I search the Internet I can find a lot of good information on purchasing gold coins. Owning gold is a great thing. You can actually hold it in your hands and see your investment. Gold is also a much safer investment then a lot of other types of investment available. Most likely over time gold will increase in value and we all want that. I also find gold coins to be something very interesting to coin collectors. Starting Class Again

So, I have had about a month off from school because we had to move and also had a lot going on. So today I start my next class and I am dreading it. The classes are usually pretty intense and the class lasts 5 weeks. I sure hope I get a good learning team this class cause that helps tremendously!

Laundry Prices

We recently moved to a different apartment and we love it here but the one draw back is that we don't have a washer and dryer in our apartment. We have to go downstairs and do our laundry. It costs us between $3 to $5 each week and that really adds up when neither of us has a lot of income coming in. At least our rent is cheaper so that's a plus.

Jacksonville Cosmetology School

As kids graduate from school I hear so many of them talking about the careers they want to go to school for. One career that seems to be popular with the females and some males is cosmetology. I've had a few friends pursue this career and seem to enjoy it. The important thing about this is that they find a school with modern training and education. A school like Jacksonville Cosmetology School would give them the education needed to know all there is to know for a great career. This school also has a job placement program which is wonderful for when a person graduates.

Flooding

You can't tell by the weather today that we have had a lot of rain this summer so far. There has been many places with water in their basements and the rivers out of their banks. I have heard stories like this happening all over our state. I feel for the people dealing with all the water and know what they are going through because my parents have had to deal with it also in years gone by. They have been blessed the last two years with a dry basement.

Moved

It is over a weeks since my brother and I have moved into our new apartment. We love it! It's so great to just have it the two of us. We had a friend come and stay with us over the 4th and it was such a great time. We wish we would have done this a long time ago.
