One of my favorite things to do is to go into Pawn Shops. You can get some really great buys in them. I've gotten a lot of my DVDs and games for my xbox from them. I have also been able to sell a few things that I don't care about anymore to make a little money.
My brother and I went to some yesterday and it is pretty amazing what a person can find at those places. You ought to check one out sometime.
