Thanksgiving Break

My brother and I are heading home on Monday to spend Thanksgiving break with our folks. My mom has to work on Thanksgiving Day so we are planning our big deal on the following Sunday. It will be nice to be home again and have some more of my mom's home cooking.

Weight

My mom and I made a bet that I could lose 20 pounds faster then she could lose 10. She told me today that she has lost 3 so far and I need to check in the morning to see what I have lost. If I win she pays me $10 and the other way around. I want the money bad enough so I need to work hard.

The Defenders

One of my favorite new fall shows is The Defenders. It is a great comedy/drama show. The actors in it are amazing and make the show. I don't miss an episode. I'm sure glad they finally got a good show on like this.

Weather

It is crazy how the great weather continues. I keep hearing how we had quite a bit of snow on the ground already a year ago. We've had nothing but sunshine and highs in the 50s and 60s. I love this weather and hope it last the whole month of November or longer.

Class

This class I am taking as been a little challenging. My last one was the same way. I miss the easy ones. I had a couple of those that I passed with ease. I sure hope I get a good grade on this one. I'm always glad when I pass with at least a C.

Black Friday Ads

The black Friday ads are really starting to come out now. I have been trying to set some money aside so that I can do some shopping on that day. We usually get up really early so that we can get ahead of some of the crowds. My mom is going to ride along with us this year. It should be fun.

Scary Movies

This weekend we watched so many scary movies. We went and saw the new movie Saw in 3D. It was sooooo good!!! Then after we went home and watched more scary movies clear into the early morning. We had a great time and a fun Halloween.

Bowling

It has been such a long time since I've gone bowling. The other night some friends and I decided it sounded like fun. So we headed to the bowling alley and when we got there we were the only ones there. It was empty. I guess everyone else had other plans for the Halloween weekend. Anyway, we had a blast. It was so much fun!
