Pizzazz

Awhile back I had gotten a Pizzazz from a former roommate that had moved out. He owed me some money and couldn't pay me so I got his Pizzazz instead. It is a great invention and I made not only pizzas on it but really any frozen item that is usually deep fat fried. Corn dogs, fish sticks, mozzarella sticks are just a few ideas of what you can cook on one. Anyway, it quit working this past summer and my roommates and I really have missed it. Christmas at Home

My brother and I came home last night or maybe I should say early this morning after he got off work. We got home around 2 a.m. It is great being home. We've already had lots of laughs and of course Mom's good cooking. We get to be home till Sunday so I hope the time goes slow. We plan on having our family Christmas on Christmas day and I'm looking forward to that.

New Job

Tonight is my official first night on the job. I am on third shift but that's ok because I normally stay up into the wee hours of the morning. I am going to be a security officer at the casino in our town. According to orientation there will be a lot to learn but I think this will be very interesting and fun and a great experience for me since I am going to school for law enforcement. I'm trying to sike myself up for going and am probably a little nervous but that's normal. I anticipate the evening will go well.

Busy!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. I got hired for a new job and have been going through orientation for that. Then my class I am taking has taken up so much of my time with so much work to do. Then I get most of it done and they make me redo it because they are not satisfied. It is ridiculous how they do that. I officially start on my new job tomorrow night and am pretty excited about that and hope it goes well. It sure will be nice to pull in a decent paycheck. I haven't had one for quite awhile.

Thanksgiving Dinner

On Thanksgiving day my brother and I wanted something special to eat for dinner since we couldn't be home with our parents. So I bought a jar of gravy and we made fake mashed potatoes. I took turkey lunch meat and rolled it up and nuked it in the microwave then topped it with the potatoes, then corn and gravy. It was really good. Then my brother and I bought a pumpkin pie and some whip cream for dessert. Thanksgiving turned out to be pretty good. My brother bought a Hungry Man's dinner and that's what he ate.
