Easter

This Sunday is Easter and our parents are planning to come visit us and attend church with us on Easter morning. I'm sure hoping it will be a warm day so maybe after church we can spend some time outside. I'm glad my mom doesn't have to work so that we can all go to church together. This will make the day fun.

Christmas at Home

We had a real nice Christmas at home this year. We celebrated on Christmas Eve because my mom had to work on Christmas day. During this time we were having a major snow storm. My dad spent most of his time moving snow where he works so it was too bad that they were both busy. Anyway, when my mom got home from work on Christmas day it was still snowing but not blowing and pretty mild outside. So, my brother and I and my mom went outside and built a snowman. We haven't done that in years. It was fun and added something special to our Christmas at home this year.

New Cousin

Yesterday my cousin Jenna had a baby boy. He joins his big sister, Kaelyn who is two and of course her mom and dad. His name is Kaden and I'm sure he's a pretty cool little guy. We should get to see him on Christmas when all of our families get together. It will be fun to see him and we will also get to see my other new cousin who is due the first part of December. This baby will also be a boy and they have named him Israel.

Gift Ideas for Women

When it comes to birthdays or Christmas it can be sometimes hard to think of a special gift for a good female friend or even my mom. perfume and flowers are always a great idea and seeing the smile on her face when she receives it makes it worth it all.
Other ideas could be a laptop or nintendo Wii. These would be great gifts for any occasion but one special day I am thinking of would be graduation day from high school or college. I would love to receive something like this when I graduate from college and getting a gift like this would show even more how proud my parents are of me and the accomplishments I have done.
If you need some great gift ideas for women or anyone who is special in your life then visit the website savebuckets.co.uk. They have some really great ideas.

Valentines Day

I have a beautiful sweet friend that I think the world of and I decided to get her something special for Valentines Day. I was going to buy her some flowers but thought it would be nice to get her something that would last a little longer then flowers do so I picked up a teddy bear and a box of candy. I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction when I give it to her. She's a great friend.

Classes Started

I can't believe classes have started already at school. The Christmas break went way too fast. My class started today and my brother started yesterday. Since we feel like we really didn't get to do anything special besides Christmas my brother, roommate and I are going to go to Des Moines and spend the night this weekend. We are all looking forward to getting away and doing something different and fun.

Bargains

Isn't it great when you can find some really great bargains? I was telling my parents that I wanted to buy me this mp3 player that was a little more expensive because it was a 2 GB plus it played video. I was going to be a little short on the cash that I received from Christmas and so I thought I was going to have to make up the difference from my paycheck. I walked into the store where it was located and here it laid in the clearance bin. It was about $20 less then what I had planned to pay for it. So, I ended up having enough Christmas money to buy it plus pay the taxes on it. That was a real blessing.

Cousins

Three of our cousins came to stay for a couple of days at our place. They went home today. We always have fun when they come over. We like making movies, playing video games and just running around. They were suppose to come over for New Years Eve but couldn't make it so it was nice they came for a couple of days after New Years.

Pizzazz

Awhile back I had gotten a Pizzazz from a former roommate that had moved out. He owed me some money and couldn't pay me so I got his Pizzazz instead. It is a great invention and I made not only pizzas on it but really any frozen item that is usually deep fat fried. Corn dogs, fish sticks, mozzarella sticks are just a few ideas of what you can cook on one. Anyway, it quit working this past summer and my roommates and I really have missed it. Well, we got a new one for Christmas and I have to say that has to be the best present we received. I couldn't believe my eyes when we opened it up. Thanks Mom and Dad!

It can be so easy to find yourself in debt. With all the credit card offers available I am sure many people have racked up lots of debt using them. Also student loans are way out of wack but kids need them to get the education to pursue a good job. There are many ways to find yourself buried in debt. Maybe you or someone in your family has had a lot of health problems or their has been a large crisis that caused your debt. Sometimes it can't be helped but it can be devastating to your life and loved ones around you. Debt can also affect your health and well being.
If you have found yourself over $14,000 in debt you can qualify for help from the IVA debt management plan. They can help you Avoid Bankruptcy by reducing your monthly repayments by up to 65%. They will work with all creditors in negotiations and make one affordable payment each month instead of having several. This could be a Christmas present to you this year by starting out the new year with a plan to relieve you of stress and worry about the debt you are living with. Let them begin to free you of all this and start your new year out with a new beginning.

Christmas at Home

My brother and I came home last night or maybe I should say early this morning after he got off work. We got home around 2 a.m. It is great being home. We've already had lots of laughs and of course Mom's good cooking. We get to be home till Sunday so I hope the time goes slow. We plan on having our family Christmas on Christmas day and I'm looking forward to that.
