Haunted Iowa

My ghost hunting team has recently put out a dvd/blu-ray of our Haunted Iowa. We premiered it at a theater in Hampton Iowa at the beginning of August. We had about 35 people there and we ran into a little bit of technical problems. It all worked out and people enjoyed it. Now we are busy getting ready to sell copies to our fans.

Break

I have had a break from school for over a month now. It has been glorious and it's quickly coming to an end. I start back to class this coming Tuesday and am dreading it. The next break I get will be at Christmas and it won't be a long one. It seems so far away yet but before we know it we will be singing Christmas carols

Grilling

I really enjoy grilling out. Often we get friends together or our CCPI group and we will head to this awesome park close to our where we live and grill burgers, steaks, hotdogs, you name it. Either my brother or I are always the ones in charge of the grilling tasks. Must mean that we are pretty good at it.

Tonight I went to the Comedy Club in our area to see Dave Koechner. It was great and so funny. It cost me $15 to get in but was well worth it. I even got a chance to get a picture taken with him. This was priceless.

Mall of America

Next week my brother, mom and I are going up to the Mall of America. We will probably spend one day there and then venture out to some other places the next day. Hot and Humid

Oh my goodness has it been hot and humid the past week. It seems to be a lot warmer start to June then it usually is. I like it warm but am not a fan of this really hot and humid weather. The weather people are talking mid to upper 70s by the end of this week and I am sure looking forward to that.

Summer Vacation

Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day. My folks decided to go to Texas and visit our relatives there. It was a great trip and we had such a good time. We just do not get to see them often enough but when we do, we have a great time together. Now it is back home and back to work again. Happy we got to have such a great Memorial Day weekend.

Breakout Kings

Breakout Kings is one of my favorite shows. The actors in it are so real and you think they are really their characters. The story lines are very interesting and I love the way they create the escape of each inmate. I hope this show stays on for a very long time.

School

I am back in class again. This is the second week and it is going pretty well. It is a nice relief because my last class was a real challenge. I am glad I passed with a decent grade because there were times when I wondered if I would.

Graduations

Next weekend we are going to my second cousins graduation reception. We were thinking we weren't going to make it but luckily we can go home and ride up with our parents. I think that may be the only one we go to this year. My other cousin decided he didn't want a reception so I guess we don't need to worry about that.

Vacation

We had the best time when we went out to South Dakota for vacation. We did a lot of hiking and sightseeing. The weather was so nice, I think we had just a little rain the first day. We saw at least 500 buffalo roaming and that was a great site. On our last day we went to Bear Country and it was fun to see all the bear just roaming in front and behind our car. They had a lot of bear cubs too. It was a great trip.

Where's Spring?

We have had the strangest spring spring so far. One day it can be in the 70s, then the 90s then it's snowing. I couldn't believe when I got out of work the other morning and here was snow on the ground and big flakes in the air. It's getting old and I hope by the time May hits it will straighten out.
