Grilling

We had a great Memorial Day. My folks decided to go to Texas and visit our relatives there. It was a great trip and we had such a good time. We had the best time when we went out to South Dakota for vacation. We did a lot of hiking and sightseeing. The weather was so nice, I think we had just a little rain the first day. We saw at least 500 buffalo roaming and that was a great site. On our last day we went to Bear Country and it was fun to see all the bear just roaming in front and behind our car. Last week our ghost hunting team returned to Villisca, Iowa where we have been to a haunted house about 7 times. This is probably going to be our last time going there. We are making a documentary of Haunted Iowa and wanted to get some last video of the place. We all decided to reenact the crime that had taken place in the house. That was a mistake because some real creepy stuff happened. I would advise anyone who visits this house not to do that.

My brother and I were able to go home to my parents and stay for a few days. It was so nice to have a break. Mom did her home cooking thing and it was delicious. We took a day and all went together to Des Moines and that was great because we don't get many opportunities to do that anymore. It really was a good time but now it's back to the old grind.

My brother is going to graduate from college on Saturday. My folks are coming down to help celebrate. My gosh, it isn't even officially winter and here we have snow drifts so high you can't see at some of the intersections. It is downright dangerous. This weekend we watched so many scary movies. We went and saw the new movie Saw in 3D. It was sooooo good!!! Then after we went home and watched more scary movies clear into the early morning. We had a great time and a fun Halloween.

60th Anniversary

Saturday night we celebrated my grandparents 60th anniversary. We got a party room at the Pizza Ranch and had their buffet which is delicious! Then my grandparents opened their gifts and later we sat and watched a video that was put together of pictures from the past to the present of the families. It was a good time and fun to see everyone.
